Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM to post your question.
I read it carefully and I saw the pictures.

I would need some more information in order to answer you more accurately.

When did those skin rashes started to appear?
Are they itchy?
Are they painful?
Has she any history of trauma there?
Does she suffer from any chronic medical problem?
Has she done any labs recently?
Any other symptom that she may have?

Looking forward to your follow up question.

Regards,
Dr.Papaqako

Hi,. rashes started appearing from last year , but they were only on knees. since she is doing house cleaning by sweeping herself so we thought as effect of that. but later it started on whole body. they are itchy but not painfully.no other problems as such. pls suggest the possible problems that could.es to ur mind and then we will get them tested by local labs

Suggested next steps to rule out possible diagnoses.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for the follow up question.

The skin lesions look like something which goes beyond local problem, since they are spread in her body. It is not common that those are not painful with that reddish color they have.

Here is what I am thinking:

-- Psoriasis?: gets better by using emollients and antifungals, during summer because of sun exposure. Skin Biopsy is the investigation.

-- Contact dermatitis ? Fungal infection ? Lichen planus ?

-- First she needs to get a CBC done(complete blood count) and rule out problems that give weird rashes like STDs. I don't know her risk of having any of these problems, so you determine that. But I would say that checking those won't hurt and so you make sure that those are ruled out.

-- A general physical examination would rule out important signs, like lymph nodes in specific sites, any enlarged organ etc.

-- If needed, an ultrasound will check the liver and spleen size.

-- If all the above are normal you can also go into more details and check the Rheumatoid factor, the ESR, CRP etc.

I hope this has helped clarify you a bit about the next possible steps.

Meanwhile, she can use an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole twice/day and the rest of the day use an emollient.

Regards,
Dr. Papaqako
