Question: I have some redness around my groin on the left side and inner buttocks that will itch at times. Not sure what is causing it. Thanks.

Hi and thanks for uploading the images.

I have reviewed both of them. This is bot too typical but put together with the information provided, this is suggestive of a possible fungal infection. Treatment is very safe and cheap as well. I will recommend that you apply miconazole 2% cream daily after baths for ten days. If our diagnosis is correct, then there would be no more symptoms. Should it fail to address this condition, then I will recommend further evaluation by your primary care doctor.
