Brief Answer:
May be generalised osteoarthritis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.

I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar,

After going through your query I concluded that you may be suffering from generalized osteoarthritis of joints mainly osteoarthritis of knee joints. For confirmation of it I will advise you get X -ray both knee joints in standing. Till then you can take empirical treatment analgesic(diclofenac slow release tablets) for pain relief , Diacerine and glucasamine sulfate. Alprazolam at bed time is advised to relieve your anxiety. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.

I will advise following investigation to rule out other causes:-
1.T3,T4,TSH to rule out hypothyroidism.
2. Rheumatoid factor test to rule out rheumatoid arthritis.
3.Vitamin B-12 and Vitamin D to rule out vitamin deficiencies.

Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Wishing you good health.
Take care.

Had blood work done. Good on paper. No arthritis . No vitamin deficiencies. Had x rays of knees, ankles, back, neck. Muscles hurt when massaging or touching them. Therapist was doing Grastin, not sure how to spell this word. I do have bursitis in the right hip. Can't take cortisone of any kind. Sorry forgot to mention all this last night. Also keep falling n tripping. Legs very weak. I am a very busy person not a couch potato. I walk n move along. Live on 40 acres, have animals, garden, flower beds, do craft shows, worked until last Sept from 8amtill8pm. Caring for people. In home health care worker. Sciatic is really throbbing, right leg is hurting more than left leg but left arm started hurting this week. Thought I was having heart attack yesterday. Cortisone messed my heart up in 05, took medicine for 2 years to get rhythm back somewhat. Still have irregular beats now n than. Also having some numbness problems in my face once in awhile. Some burning in both legs, tingling. Adjustments help but does not stay in place. Wondered about ALS.ALSO have dish disease in upper back thoracic . But it has not gotten worse. My gait is off. So I walk with a limp favoring my right leg. Had Achilles tendon surgery 2 years ago on right foot. Do stretching exercises daily. Had piriformis release surgery 25 years ago on right side. No problems until now. This should not be affecting the rest of me. As I am writing this my left check is tingling. My left knee is throbbing. My left arm is aching. It is like having flu symptoms for 5 months now. Body aches all over just worse in some area's.

Iam usually a very healthy person no colds, haven't had flu for years. Very busy person, don't have time to be sick. Another problem. Teeth are aching. Had 2 pulled in last year. Teeth had been good until now. Calcium level ok too. A lot of body swelling. Fingers n legs.

Brief Answer:
Generalised osteoarthritis & lumber spondylosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back,

After going through your query and follow up query I concluded that you may be suffering from generalized osteoarthritis of joints mainly osteoarthritis of knee jointsand lumbar spondylosis with sciatica. You have not mentioned about X- ray reports, I think you may be having osteoarthritic changes in them. You have sciatic radiation further indicating possibility of lumbar spondylosis( degerative spine changes). I think medicines discussed in previous discussion will benefit you. For relief of sciatic radiation mecobalamine can be added. As your muscle hurt to touch and pain at multiple sites so I also think you may be suffering from fibromyalgia. Please get MRI lumbar spine to see compression as sciatic is really throbbing. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.

Hope I have answered your query.

If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Normal aging process+Fibromyelgia.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back,

After going through your query and follow up query I concluded that you may be suffering from generalized osteoarthritis of joints( includes having normal aging changes not necessarily spurs etc) and some element of fibromyalgia. I believe Diacerine , mecobalmine and glucasamine sulfate will be of some benefit in normal aging process also.I think your doctor would have prescribed you treatment of fibromyalgia. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
Hope I have answered your query.

My primary care referred me to a rheumatologist. XXXXXXX 19 is appointment. I have to suffer till than? I do not want to wait that long. That is why when I saw this site I thought someone might have other answers. I just don't think all this pain is caused from bursitis. The tripping, tingling n burning n numbness plus the pain is different than I have ever had. Fatigue n weakness never had. Thank u again. Have to find a new primary care doc. Also want you to know...... when I lay flat on my left or right side with pillows between knees,,,,,,, my knees n legs throb something awful. With my arms hurting now I try pillows under them. But if I lay flat on my back with knees up or pillows under knees,,,,I do not hurt in some places but if you touch or massage my muscles they hurt. No strength in hands. Hurt to grab stuff or try to pull items. Back does hurt a little bit usually after trying to do things. Ice helps, but not for long. Heat also helps but not for long. Again thank u for listening n reading. I will continue to search for a diagnosis.

After going through your query and follow up query nothing new diagnosis came in my mind. But I want to know whether touching and massaging of all muscles of body are painful or only calf and thigh muscles are having pain.
