Brief Answer:
menstrual migraine may lead to headaches

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

While headache during periods is not uncommon but fever with every period is not a regular symptom.

The only possible explanation for you is the sensitivity of the body to changes in hormones during periods and also the hypothyroidism. So you do have a hormonal issue and it may give rise to feeling of heat. Try decreasing the dose of the thyronorm after consulting your physician as the tablet also gives rise to increased heat sensation, palpitations and headache.

Please also check your temperature every 6 hours during the periods and also off period days and keep a record of it as well as any other symptoms and then see a doctor.

The headache may be due to a condition called menstrual migraine where women have headache just during the periods due to low estrogen levels. It is easily managed by using simple pain killers like acetaminophen that will work for fever as well as migraine.

Some auto immune conditions may also give rise to a fever pattern that may be coinciding with your period.

In addition I suggest a blood tests for infection, malaria, filaria, TSH, rheumatoid factor and SLE.

with these reports and your symptoms diary see your physician for further evaluation and opinion.

Hope this satisfies your query.
