What Causes Burning Sensation On Scrotum And Penis After Shaving Genital Area?

default
Posted on Sat, 17 Jan 2015
Question: @Urology

Please first see linked photos. I had to clean my genital area to take these photos. So I used hair remover cream on penis and scotrum, after that I had burning sensation on scotrum and part of penis for a night. Now it is fine. But skin of scotrum is little hard.

Images:
Erected: XXXXXXXX

FACTS:
27, Male, Unmarried, 5ft 11in, 68kg.
From last 6months- no physical activity, no exercise, only do work on my laptop, drink very less amount of water.

0. Mastarbating almost daily from last 10 years.
1. I am Virgin. I never had sex with any girl. Never used any kind of contaminated stuff with my penis.
2. I never had errection problems in my life infact, I got errection any time I wanted (except when I was extremely stress/terryfied). And I always used to have morning errection. (until I started
research on internet).
3. I usaully wear "tight" briefs, and often while wearing tight briefs when I got errection the tight fitting underwear try to restrict the errected penis inside. And due to tight fitting brief my penis bend (where shaft meets the penis head) inside the underwear.
And I firmly believe this casused the injury to my penis.

4. When I urinate "sometimes" some drops of urine left in my penis head, which comes out later after a minute when I walk back to my room.
5. From last two months I have been suffering from very high level stress, depression, anxiety, anger related to my job, my health, my relations, my past, my future.
And I am severely constipated from last two months may be due these stress.
6. No frequent urination.

PROBLEM STARTED:

1. Last month I thought I should ask doctor about this "extra skin" on my unerrected penis (see attached photos). I started research on internet.
AT THIS TIME I DIDN'T HAD ANY ERECTILE PROBLEMS, AND I WASN'T AWARE OF ANY KIND OF TERRIFYING DISEASES THAT CAN HAPPEN TO PENIS. EVERYTHING WAS ALRIGHT.
But then I started reading about the bend I have in my penis(see attached photos) and I read about all these terryfying diseases(Peyronie's Disease, Prostate, etc...).
Since then I am extremely terrified, stressed, depressed, hopeless, more constipated, like someone is holding my stomach tightly, And I also breathe very slowly when I think about these things.
I cann't take my mind off these problems, queries in my head. I am terryfied like I may have one of these untreatable diseases/damages.

2. After this internet research I can't think about porn and stuff Which I used to think for errection and mastarbation. And even if I watch porn or try to think about porn, all these queries and worries are running into the back of my head all the time and I can't get errection.

3. Yesterday I mastarbated with full errected penis. And I am able to get full length errection (if somehow I draw my attention off these terrifying things).

PROBLEMS & QUESTIONS:

1. I am having very mild pain in my penis on errection. Its like mascular pain inside penis. Premature ejaculation(this particularly started after internet research).
What is the cause of this pain? Are pain and premature ejaculation related?
What can be done to solve these problems?

2. I am suffering from erectile dysfunction: problem in maintaining erection. It doesn't get hard for more than few seconds.
What is the cause?

3. I noticed a darker patch of skin located on my penis shaft. More specifically it's located on the very bottom of the shaft, starting where the shaft meets the scrotum and traveling up towards the head a little ways. It's oval in shape. The color is a bit darker than my usual skin tone.
What and why is this black skin on the lower side of my penis shaft?

4. What can be done for this extra skin on my unerrected penis (see attached photos)?

5. Is my penis shape ok or not? Why is my penis head bends downward? Is this normal?

6. Why is head of my penis is large(in length)? and It ofter remains less_hard(spoongy) on
errection while shaft get very hard?

7. Why not penis errect parallel to floor (which it used to be)? It always slopes downward.
Is this damaged suspensory penile ligament? Because tight briefs forcefuly restricted the errect penis in downward direction.
This guy also have similar problem: http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Erectile-Dysfunction/Damanged-Suspensory-Ligament/show/0000

I know this is a long list of questions/problems but I really need someone to help me in this worst time of my life.

Brief Answer:
Structural and Psychological disorganization is causing ED.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I understand your query and concern.

I have gone through all the images.

As per your clinical description, you seem to have mixed erectile dysfunction/ED and premature ejaculation.
Erectile dysfunction could be related to daily masturbation and stress related life in your case.

The extra dark skin which you are referring to could be a localized hyper pigmentation and i feel it should not bother you, unless it’s significantly expanding in size.

The altered shape and erection is largely due to erectile dysfunction.

This is not a prostate disease or damaged suspensory ligament for sure.
In order to rule out any organic diseases like Peyronie's I advise you to have a penile angiography which can accurately assess any disturbances in blood flow to the penis.

Stress management is vital in your case.

Stop masturbation for a while.

The variation in head size can also be explained by penile angiography. There could be an element of epispadias/hooded penis which might require surgical correction.

The erectile dysfunction has mixed psychological and structural dysfunction. Both components need to distinctly correct.

You need to certainly consult an urologist for further expert management.

Post you further queries if any.
Thank you.

1. Can you tell me what can be done for this extra skin on my unerrected penis (see in photo) ?

2. Do I need to see urologist urgently or I can delay my appointment (25th, Jan) ?

3. Have I done any (permanent) damage to my penis ?

Brief Answer:
Need to have further tests to assess the severity.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir.

I understand your concern.

I have gone through your recent images as well.

Regarding the extra skin, if there is underlying fibrosis/plaque, it needs simple excision. If the underlying tissue is normal, it can be considered as local hyper pigmentation which can be either left alone or treated with laser.

You definitely need to see your urologist at the earliest, since the disease process if progressive can affect the outcomes. An early diagnosis and treatment is always a safer option.

The degree of damage can only be assessed after taking investigations like penile angiography with or without DICC (dynamic infusion cavernosometry and cavernosography). In My opinion the damage does not seem to be permanent as per the images and clinical history given by you.

Post your further queries, if any.
Thank you.

Hi Sir,
Thanks for you help, cooperation and detailed answers. This is my last follow-up questions.

1) Actually when I wrote the extra skin I was "not" asking about the black skin on the shaft of penis.
I was asking about the extra skin on the tip(head) of penis when it it in falicid state (unerrected penis).

Please see these photos:
http://postimg.org/image/dwqbfu7b1/
http://postimg.org/image/pcnjme6pp/

2) You can see the shaft of the penis is very straight when it erect. On erection the penis looks staraight and without extra skin. My major concern is the point where the shaft meets the head of penis. I only see this bend and extra skin when it is in falicid state. (I am Uncircumcised).

3) Can you please tell me the approximate cost of these tests:
Penile Angiography with or without DICC (dynamic infusion cavernosometry and cavernosography). And are these condition treatable ?

Brief Answer:
Circumcision is an effective treatment available

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I understand your concern.

The extra skin at the tip of the penis can be excised through Circumcision .This is a very effective procedure and a sole procedure available .

These tests cost around 60-80 US$.
