Brief Answer:
Warts can be treated easily with radio frequency.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

Regarding your various queries about warts:

- Wart or medically known as Verruca vulgaris are caused by viral infection known as Human papilloma virus (HPV). There is no need of any specific test for the diagnosis of the same. Only mere visualisation of the area is sufficient to identify the warts.

These are brown to dark brown colored pointed or thorn like projections like eruptions. It requires only naked eye examination to rule out whether the eruptions are warts or something else.

It is very simple to treat warts. I generally prefer to do radio frequency ablation for the removal of warts. It requires only few minutes of time by this method to remove the warts.

The only precaution or prevention is to avoid intercourse till the complete healing of the area. There is no other specific precaution except for the intercourse or masturbation also as these processes cause bit friction and therefore spread to other site or to the partner.

Do let me know if you have been diagnosed with viral warts. You can send few good resolution pictures of the affected area. For that you have a feature on the right side of the page. Kindly send good resolution pictures so that can be seen in magnified view.

I again reassure you that warts are one if the simplest viral infection which can be very easily treated.

I hope these informations will relax your mind. I will be glad to answer any further queries.

My wart was there in July and went away through medication (combination of homoepathy and prodoflyon). There has been no warts since then so cannot show any photos

However I have been having mild irritation / pain in my penis (infrequent without pattern) so the doctor prescribed antoxid hc tablet 2 weeks back which I have been taking.

Overall am not sure if it was a viral wart or not. My homoepathy dosage got completed early this week (75 days - thuja, dulcamara and caustic in)

Not sure what the future holds and how I can become normal person. Am very anxious

Brief Answer:
Warts are always asymptomatic condition.

Detailed Answer:
Hello young fellow,

Welcome again to the forum and thanks for your swift follow up.

Regarding your further concern:

Warts never manifest as pain or irritation or any other sensation over Penis or genital region.

Warts are totally asymptomatic condition and never manifest as pain or irritation. Even largest of warts are totally asymptomatic.

So your pain and irritation at penile region has no correlation with warts.

Many a times I've seen your kind of condition in young men like you. It can be due to mild infection in Sexually active men. This is quite common due less water intake or due to trivial infection or usually also. I see quite often to find such kind of sensation one time or other in all of us.

In such kind of cases infection generally suggest to take plenty of water and liquids to flush our urinary system. So I suggest you to drink plenty of water. Use condoms for time being period so that all the chances of recurrence could be prevented.

I reassure you fully that your symptoms of irritation or episodic pain are not related to warts so just relax for the same.

I hope you must be relaxed to know the simple facts. I'll be glad to guide you any further.

What are the changes of warts recurrence and what precaution should I take to avoid it in future

Also for the irritation/ pain while urinating at times, should I take some medication to flush out the infection. It's been lingering on since last 2 months (it's very mild but an irritant nonetheless)

Are there any major future issues due to warts.

Brief Answer:
Warts never cause any tyoe future issues.

Detailed Answer:
Hello young buddy,

Welcome again to the forum.

Let me reassure you again that your symptoms are not related to warts.

As I said earlier that warts manifest only and only as brownish colored pointed eruption as recurrence. These never manifest as burning or irritation.

In warts there must be at least some eruption to be present to designate these as warts. Once treated warts either do not occur at all and if recurs then must be shown as eruptions.

So just do not at all worry regarding any possibility of warts in yourself. As it is more than 2 months Since the warts have been treated so it is very unlikely to get these warts recurred.

There is no precautions required presently for warts as had been treated completely.

I many times see your kind of cases who are really quite tensed regarding the past infection and due to the same there is undue apprehension. All these also leads to feeling of mild to moderate irritation.

There is no need to take any medications. First and foremost calm down yourself as warts never have any after effects. Warts never causes any future side effects too. Once treated these completely get vanished.
There is no minor or major issues even if warts are present or when treated.
Relax and calm down and just do not worry.

I hope you must be relaxed to kniw all these facts. I will be glad to guide you any further.

Thanks for the detailed assessment

Presume the antoxid hc would assist in overall immunity improvement

On the irritation while urinating / slight comfort will try to see if it settles down

I will avoid any medication.

Should I do anything else to boost the overall immunity

Lastly any lifestyle restrictions I should observe - I am not a sexually active man (had a stray incident).... Anything else I should avoid like alcohol, etc

Brief Answer:
Do yoga and relaxation exercises daily.

Detailed Answer:
Hello young buddy,

There is nothing to be worried for any reason. Warts are one of the most simple infections and as I said earlier once treated never cause any future issues.

As you are not Sexually active so you do not have any further chances of having warts too. So just relax for any issues of warts.

You can take Antoxid as prescribed your treating doctor. It is a multivitamin and antioxidant so will over all help you in improving the immunity.

There is no specific lifestyle modification required. If you take alcohol occasionally then there is no issues but I'd you rake it daily then must currently down to once or at the maximum twice weekly.

I suggest my patients to do yoga or mild exercises as a good part improving your immune status and overall health.

I finally reassure you completely that you are totally fit and fine from the part of warts and there is nothing to be worried for the same.

I am just besides you to take care of all your worries. You can take as many guiding regarding your health issues.

Morning doctor,

One pattern which I observed is that I have some minor discomfort when I pass urine (either mild irritation or pain) which passes off after sometime. This is not consistent and happens sometime and not all the time

Also if I have intercourse or masturbate then the pain is slightly more pronounced

Not sure what should I do ... Is there some testing or medication to solve this

Brief Answer:
Go for urine examination (complete & microscopy).

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Very good morning to you and welcome again to the forum.

After reading your present set of symptoms of discomfort and pain at various times I suggest you to go for urine examination (complete & microscopy).

As I told you before that most of your symptoms can be related to either anxiety or apprehension or if at all then mild infection.

A urine examination will tell us the exact status whether or not you have any infection.

In your kind of cases I suggest my patients to take plenty of liquids. If at all is not treated by the same then I prefer to give Tablet Flavoxate 200 mg (Urispas) half tablet two times daily. It reduces the muscles spasm in urinary tract which are the main cause of irritation or discomfort.

I hope above information will help you. I will be glad to guide you any further.

Brief Answer:
No need to go for any further testing; Just realx.

Detailed Answer:
Hello young fellow,

Thanks for your swift follow up.

I have analyzed your reports and can get that your report is totally normal. There is no need to go for any further urine examination. The complete set of chemical examination as well as microscopy shows normal urine without any pus cells or red blood cells or any other abnormal content.

This shows that you don't have any infection so you can just relax for the same. In such cases I prefer my patients to drink plenty of liquids to flush the urinary system. Additionally I give the tablet mentioned in previous mail for around 7 days of period to relax the episodic contractions and spasm of urinary tract. It is quite often seen that due to undue apprehension one can start experiencing mild to moderate irritation and pain kind of sensation.

Keep yourself busy and don't give any attention on the same. Relax yourself as you are completely healthy and there is no infection including warts on anything else.

I hope above information will help you. I will be glad to guide you any further.

Brief Answer:
Meet a proper "Urologist". You are clear from STDs

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Welcome again to the forum and thanks for your follow up.

I completely understand your concern of episodic pain and discomfort post urination. I can see that all your test results are normal and you are totally clear from the part of sexually transmitted infections including genital warts.

So young man let you come out of the aura of any sexually transmitted infections causing your episodic pain and discomfort post urination. I quite often counsel your kind of cases where the person is prejudiced and directed for only one type of cause. So just forget about genital warts as cause of the symptoms.

As right form the beginning of our discussion I guided you that your symptoms are not at all related to genital warts. This is now further proven by your test reports.

SO just relax from the part of genital wart or any other sexually transmitted infections. At this juncture I suggest you to meet a proper "Urologist" and apprise him with your episodic pain and discomfort post urination as well our discussion.

An urologist would be the best person now to take care of the complete condition as you are clear from the part of sexually transmitted diseases.

My all best wishes for your early and best recovery from the problem.

Thanks. What is not clear is why is the situation not consistent and more sporadic

As an example - last week between wed and Saturday I did not have any discomfort but since yesterday morning it's resurfaced

Not sure if the situation is clinical or psychological or someone more deeper

Brief Answer:
Meet a urologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello young fellow,

I completely understand your part of anxiety for the condition.

In my view it appears to be more related to psychological rather than any pathological part.

As you are now free from the parts of warts as well all sexually transmitted infections so the only part remains is of urological part.

Let you consult the urologist and explain all the situation. It is now a urologist call to decide the further course of action.

I reassure you that now you are out of the STDs part and the part of warts so just relax yourself.

My all best wishes for your early recovery from the problem.

"Wish you good health"

Dr Sanjay
