Posted on Tue, 2 Feb 2016
Question: Hello docter,

I am a very ill patient who is not taking seriously by doctors.

I've had many bacterial infections like sepsis, sinusitis , throat infections / ear abces and many more.

I severe with a lot of pain in my pelvic area, my internal sphincter doesn't relaxed anymore. I've a lot of atrophy in my legs and a lot of strong headaches.

After using antibiotics I feel much more better, and after that it started to get worse again.

4 months ago I had a citrobacter abces in my ear.

Is it possible that this bacteria is in other parts of my body?

Last week I had a very heavy inflammation of my throat and heavy headaches for 8 days.... After taking 1 week doxycycline it started to get less but is still present. Now I take augmentin.

I'm really concerned about my health. Especial because nobody is taking me serious.

Going to the toilet is only possible by using a klysma every day.

The are also several cysts in my hips which makes walking very painful.

Sitting on my coccyx is also very painful.

My quality of live is very low, except when I use antibiotics.

I used minocicline/ doxy and now augmentin.

Could you please help / advise me?

I appriciate any feedback.

Kind regards,

XXXX

Brief Answer:
MRI pelvis are needed to document further action

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam

I can certainly understand your concerns.

I apologize for the delayed response owing to my work schedule.

I worked through your query in detail.

Many of your symptoms are directly related to effect of bacterial infections.

It is possible to have Citrobacter elsewhere in the body to cause ear infection.

Pertaining to pelvic pain and symptoms, the possibility of the inflammatory process is high.

This requires an early work up in the form of MRI of the pelvis

I generally prescribe my patients with oral pills of ORNI O for 2 weeks.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe this test to you.

Further management if any is largely based on test results. Any change of Antibiotics will depend on test results.

Specific procedure, whether medical or surgical depends on results of MRI.

Maintain a good diet in the form of fruits like apple and Pomegranate. Eggs and Soy protein are a must.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you

Thank you.

Today I got the results of a culture of my throat: Hemolytic streptococcus A

In the past I went to the hostpital for a MRI of the pelvic: The is nothing to see.

Is it possible that my fast heart-rate, my pain in my pelvic area, leg pain, sphincter pain and the atrophy in my leg is caused by this bacteria?

Brief Answer:
A short course of antibiotics like Augmentin will help

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I worked through your query and attached reports in detail.

Yes, it is possible that many of your symptoms are related to bacterial infection.

As the MRI is normal, oral pills of antibiotic AUGMENTIN 625 mg twice a day for 7 days will help.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe the same to you.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you
