1. Since how long you have been suffering from the said condition?
2. Any associated indigestion, acidity, burning sensation,heart burn,loss of appetite, uneasiness after eating,pain in the region of stomach?
3. Was it a Clinical diagnosis or were any Investigation (endoscopy) done for the same?
4. Any associated weight gain,or addicted to alcohol,smoking,tea,coffee, taking acidic-spicy-high fat diet,or pain killers?
5. Any Mental/Emotional Stress?

1. Have been diagnosed two months back that I Have GERD. Under endoscopy which indicated- patalous de junction

2. No stomach pain and had acidity twice. Have lot of uneasiness in the throat area, seems something is blocked there , slight issues in swallowing.

3. Endoscopy done.

4 no alcohol, takes 3-4 cup of tea , now have reduced to 1

5 I am overweight and constantly gaining weight
And I am badly stressed. I am worried that in case I am not cured then I will have miserable life. I have a small child to look after so I am stressed

Thanks for reverting back

1. Work, WORRY (Stress), Weather are the main cause of any digestion related issues thus:

i. Avoid chillies, fried & sour food.
ii. Stop using painkillers (paracetamol is safe)
iii. Avoid strong Tea. If necessary take with some food, not on empty stomach.
iv. Have regular meals. Avoid periods of starvation- take small snacks in between
v. Avoid late night duties, take regular sleep and adequate rest.
vi. Do not lie immediately after taking meals and make sure to raise your head end while sleeping.

Take: green gram,white gourd,green vegetables,old brown rice,harad,garlic, honey, pomegranate,rice gruel,amla, elephant yam,sweet potato, sweet fruits,lukewarm water.

Avoid: newly harvested rice,chick pea flour, black/horse gram,potato,brinjal,spices,tea/coffee,junk food,day time sleeping,sesame, salt,curd,sour fruits,guava.

Home Remedies:

. Try to suck a piece of clove for immediate relief.
. Fresh mint juice
. Banana,cucumber,watermelon are natural antacids
. Glass of warm water (early morning)
. Suck 10 gm jaggery everyday (after meals) for constant acidity.

3. Drink 4 spoons of aegle marmelos (bael) juice.
. Mix 3 pinch dry ginger powder
3 pinch dry gooseberry powder
3 pinch sugar... eat the mixture.

4. Patoladi kwatha with honey (in morning)
. Sutshekhar ras with Lella XXXXXXX ras to be taken with amla murabba (twice daily)
. Tablet Mentat or Brahmi vati : to avoid mental tension and keeping the mind CALM

5. Since gaining weight:

. One pathology could be Duodenal Ulcer
. Check with you blood sugar and thyroid profile.
