Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthCareMagic.com I am Dr.J XXXXXXX Anto Bruno Mascarenhas, and I am here to help you. I have read your question with care and understand that you numbness on feet some burning and feeling like wearing a sock on feet ..recently you have got several lower back pain and pain in legs.

There could be two reasons for this
1. Peripheral Neuropathy
2. Cauda Equina Syndrome

In Order to Confirm Peripheral Neuropathy, you need to do Nerve Conduction Studies.
Cauda Equina Syndrome can be confirmed by MRI DLS Spine.

Hence, I request you to kindly share those reports here

In case you have not done these, I would suggest your undergo
1. Nerve Conduction Studies of both Upper Limbs and Both Lower Limbs
2. MRI Dorso Lumbo Sacral Spine
and share the results with me so that I can guide you about this problem

Coming to your second question about HIV ( I have done many 4th gen hiv tests all were all were clear, .is it possible fr 4th gen testa to never detect presence of hiv) , the following are chances for a False Negative Test (ie Test saying No Disease while the person actually has the disease)
1
Approximately a month after exposure
2
False negatives usually occur only when someone is tested soon after exposure,
3.
When a test is insufficiently sensitive to a rare subtype or to HIV-2.

There are ways to get over this, Kindly tell the date(s) of Sexual Exposure and the date(s) you have done the tests. I will suggest what more test you have to do to 100 percent make sure that you do not have HIV

Hope you found the answer helpful.

If you need any more clarification / have doubts / have additional questions / have follow up questions, then please do not hesitate in asking again. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Best Wishes for Speedy Recovery
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
You DO NOT HAVE HIV. Need to do Tests for Diagnosing cause of Numbness

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir

Thanks for your reply

You have done the 4th Generation test 18 times and all of these are non reactive. This means that you do not have HIV.

Fist and Foremost, Be assured about this. Let us here after forget HIV and focus on the numbness / tingling

Second, Your tingling problem started 4 years ago. As I had already told, the common causes can be Peripheral Neuropathy and Cauda Equina Syndrome

The doctor has already examined you clinically with Knee Hammer and also tested for sensation and found that to be fine. But there are many conditions in which the clinical examination will be normal. That is why we need to do MRI and Nerve Conduction Studies in addition to Clinical Examination

If only all diseases will reveal themselves fully with Clinical Examination alone, these tests would never have been invented.

Thus I would suggest your undergo
1. Nerve Conduction Studies of both Upper Limbs and Both Lower Limbs
2. MRI Dorso Lumbo Sacral Spine
and share the results with me so that I can guide you about this problem

If you need any more clarification / have doubts / have additional questions / have follow up questions, then please do not hesitate in asking again. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Best Wishes for Speedy Recovery

Brief Answer:
Testing Needed for HIV 45 days if that involved wet kissing

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

1. These activities are risky

2. Regarding the second exposure
a
if it had involved wet kissing (where mucous membranes were in contact), you have to do a test 45 days after exposure and once that is negative, you can be rest assured that you are not having disease
b
if there was no contact of mucous membranes, no further test ia needed

3. In addition, please do the MRI and Nerve Conduction Studies too

Best Wishes for Speedy Recovery

Brief Answer:
Mucus Membrane Touching a Mucus Membrane carries Risk

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Mucus Membranes (Lips, Inner Aspects of mouth, Genitalia, Anal Canal etc) coming into contact with another person's mucus Membrane carries risk of transmission of HIV

Skin to Skin Contact (e.g. Shaking Hands) or Skin to Mucus Membrane Contact (e.g. Kissing on Cheeks) are not risky for transmission of HIV WHEN THE SKIN IS INTACT. However if there is an abrasion in skin, even these are risky

Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
