Brief Answer:
Try clotrimazole. Take methylcobalamine.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. Ideally a clinical evaluation would be needed but that is out of the scope here. It is possible that you have a fungal infection. If that is the case application of candid (clotrimazole) lotion and use of clotrimazole powder (also put the powder in socks before putting them on) should provide relief.

The other possibility to consider is peripheral neuropathy (even though you do not have diabeted). Taking methylcobalamine (a form of B vitamin) capsule once daily could provide relief.

Let me know if I could help further.

Doctor, I forgot to mention that the itching is inside my feet and therefore I can't scratch it. A couple of days ago I was driving a school bus about7:30 am & my left foot started to itch. I took an ultram which didnt help. Later that night about 8:30 pm my right foot started to itch and I took another ultram. The itching lasts for over an hour. Thanks for your advice
