Brief Answer:
Provide pictures and more information.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

These dots or spots might be due to some irritation due to soap or due to some allergy or pearly penile papules but I will need to see those dots to arrive at a certain conclusion.

And also before proceeding further,I would like to know,

Since when you have noticed these dots?
Is there any pain or burning or irritation over the glans?
Do you often use condom?

Kindly get back to me with more information and pictures of penis head.

Brief Answer:
likely to be pearly penile papules

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the follow-up and sorry for the delayed response.

I have gone through the images and these dots are likely Pearly Penile papules, are a normal anatomic variant.I will keep this possibility first in the absence of clinical symptoms.

They are more common in uncircumcised men.

Treatment is not necessary. Patients are reassured about the benign nature of the lesions.

But you have not answered whether you have any irritation or burning sensations over the penis head.

sorry doc and no there's no burning sensation or itching. I thought penile papules are only on the rim of the head not on the actual head itself. here's a better image for you

Brief Answer:
Could be allergic.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for sharing more pictures.

I have seen the new image you uploaded and even viewed by enlarging the image but the dots are not very clearly seen.

However, these dots could be due to some allergy as I discussed earlier in the absence of itching or burning sensations but there is no to be worried much here.

You can apply any over the counter topical antihistamine cream (like benadryl) after cleaning the secretions over the head of penis.

Do not clean the head with soap rather, you should only use water.

Hope this helps.

Dr.Sandip Kabra

Answered by Dr. Sandip Kabra (17 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
it is difficult to say regarding yeast infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the immediate reply.

It could also be a yeast infection but it is difficult to identify it from just a single look at the picture.

So, honestly it would be slightly difficult for me to rule out yeast infection by just inspecting the penis head and also in this aspect, you do not have any itching or burning over the glans.

In yeast or fungal infection, usually itching occurs at the glans penis since it is very sensitive part.

So, you will need to see some local doctor or dermatologist to rule out yeast infection who will do complete clinical examination.

Brief Answer:
Itching is mostly there in yeast infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the response.

Itching sensations are most likely in case of yeast infection especially if when it is on head of penis but it must be ruled out by clinical examination during doctor's visit.

However, you may apply topical antihistamine cream or ointment and clean the glans with using shampoo and water.

You may wait for a couple of days to get rid off these spots and if still there is no response then it would be better to see doctor.

but by the looks of it what does it look like to you. a yeast infection or papules
doctor
Answered by Dr. Sandip Kabra (14 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
will keep the possibility of papules or allergic first.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

From the pictures,I will keep the possibility of papules or allergic first and will tell my patient to go for symptomatic treatment initially.

Regarding yeast infection, it is very difficult to comment as I am not 100% sure but if you are much bothered to rule out it then better to visit some nearest doctor or dermatologist.
