Question: GM Doctor!
Since 10 days I was having a cold but never really a bad one. So, never took a medication for it. But caught a bad throat since yest. So took Laz 500 morning n evening each. But it isn't showing any effect. Please suggest on wat I should have.

Also I had my master check done last week. My TSH-Serum count was 6.45 which was really alarming!! So having Thyronorm (25mcg) since 3 days. Is my bad throat related to the TSH thing in any way???
Would I be permanently impaired with TSH??
Or am I having tonsils?? how do I differentiate between tonsils n bad throat??
Can you please suggest me the ways to be out of this trouble....
NB: I am weighing 77kg currently

Brief Answer:
Differentiating point

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,
I have gone through your query; and suggest you differentiating point for tonsillitis. You are suffering from tonsillitis if you have atleast two sign from
1. Enlarged tonsil with congested anterior pillar.
2. Cheesy material comes out on squeezing tonsil.
3. Palpable jugulodiagastric Lymphnode.

Bad throat may be related to derangement in TSH level.

Wish you good health
