Suggest Treatment For Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding And Endometriosis

Question: I had abnormal bleeding, went to the obgyn. I had a D&C, Scope performed. I had a cyst on each ovary removed and some endometriosis. The diagnosis was simple hyperplasia without cellular atypia, mild adenomatous hyperplasia. The doctor said I could go on hormone therapy with provera for 3 months do another D&C to see if it resolves if not have hysterectomy. Other option is do hysterectomy now. Should hormone therapy be effective and resolve this or have hysterectomy now. I do not know what to do? Can you help?

(Also wanted to note this condition started when I had a very stressful event happen earlier this year. When the event happened, I didn't have a period for 2 months, then the irregular bleeding started. I also gained weight during this period, at least 25 pounds. Before that my periods were regular.)

Brief Answer:
Should try hormonal treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Simple hyperplasia should respond to hormonal treatment.
There is no reason to go for a hysterectomy right away.
Please try hormonal treatment as there very good chances of response.
All the best.
