Please suggest good shampoo which can help to fix it permanently and also to prevent hair fall.

How frequently sh'd one wash hair? and what hair oil is better?

I dont use hair oil daily. Just before washing my hairs i use it.

Brief Answer:
start with ketoconazole containing shampoo, certain tests for hair fall

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcaremagic
I can understand your concern.
In such cases I recommend my patients to use medicated antidandruff shampoos containing ketoconazole. Many brands are available in the market like nizral shampoo, scalpe shampoo, KZ shampoo. You can choose from any of the above as all are equally good.To start with wash your head every alternate day and taper it slowly once you notice improvement. Dandruff is a chronic disorder which will take a long time to resolve. So you need to continue these shampoos for a long time.
As far as head wash is concerned start with alternate day and reduce to twice weekly once you see improvement and later once weekly or fortnightly.
Oiling of the scalp is not recommended in patients with dandruff but if you want to use oil go for coconut oil. Apply it on your scalp before head wash for 2-3 hours and then wash it off.
Hair fall has many causes. The most frequently encountered are thyroid disorders, anemia, hormonal imbalance, certain drugs, chronic diseases and fever like typhoid and malaria. We first need to find out the cause and then treat it accordingly. I would recommend you to undergo certain tests :
Haemoglobin
Thyroid function tests
Serum ferritin levels
You can revert back once the results of the tests come.
I hope to have answered your queries. I would be happy to clarify any further doubts.
Wish you good luck.

Dr Asmeet
