Suggest Natural Ways To Terminate Pregnancy
Question: hi
I am having a 3-4 week pregnancy and i wish to terminate the same.
as per ultrasound reports carried out today, fetus is slightly visible, and it is in uterus.
i am having papaya from last 3 days as learned from someone that it helps in natural abortion. as i m focusing on natural ways.
kindly suggest me a safe option to termination.

Please get this fact straight first of all.
You will only put your life at risk by indulging in such therapies.
First of all consult a gynaecologist.
Next have the pregnancy confirmed and dated by sonogram.
As the ultrasound is done, please upload the report so that I can know how many weeks exactly are you pregnant.
Medical abortion pills are suitable for early pregnancy termination.
They have to be taken in proper dosage and prescription.
After taking the pills, it is advisable to have a follow up ultrasound scan after 15 days to confirm that abortion is complete.
In absence of these precautions, there are grave risks such as uncontrolled bleeding, severe infection, incomplete abortion , undiagnosed ectopic pregnancy etc.

pls let me know in my case as of now medical abortion is better or surgical one.
kindly also let me know the side effects of medical process.
me and my husband does not want to continue this pregnancy as of now as our married life is only 10 month old.

Firstly a vaginal ultrasound scan should be done, this is an abdominal scan which is not at all reliable.
However, based on this, the pregnancy is definitely early.
Medical abortion pills are best for you.
Generally 1 tablet of Mifepristone is taken orally, followed 24 - 48 hours later by 4 tablets of Misoprostol vaginally.
Failure rate is 4 % in which case further surgical abortion is needed.
Side effects - nausea, vomiting ( if you vomit within 4 hours, repeat dosage is needed ), severe bleeding with cramps, and in 4 % of cases, failure of procedure requiring surgical method
THe pills are relatively safe and you can ask a gynecologist to prescribe them and properly explain the dosage to you.
Better ask a nurse to insert the vaginal tablets as if you dont insert them deep enough, they will not work.
You should definitely have a repeat checkup after 15 days of taking the tablets to know if the uterus is empty and the pills worked.
Please expect heavy bleeding with cramps and passage of white fleshy mass with bleeding for a few days, spotting might continue upto 2 - 3 weeks.
Do not have intercourse for 6 weeks, and use reliable contraception after that.
As this is your first pregnancy, I would suggest you to think twice and continue it if possible.
