Detailed Answer:
I read your question. First, of all, you must understand that hepatitis C is the inflammation of the liver caused by a virus called hepatitis C. This virus can cause illnesses that can be very mild or serious. People who die from hepatitis c are primarily due to cirrhosis or primary liver cancer.
Nowadays there are some antiviral medications which can cure 90-95 % of persons with hepatitis c infection.
Treatment of hepatitis c keeps changing quickly. The standard treatment was typically interferon with other drugs like ribavirin. Patients had some side effects like fatigue, fever, chills, depression etc. Now many directly acting antiviral drugs are being developed which have to be used for a shorter duration , are small in number and have fewer side effects.
The most common side effects are fatigue, headache, nausea, rashes, reduced sleep, dizziness, lightheadedness and less commonly back pain, eye swelling etc.
life-threatening complications are reportedly very rare and that also in patients with additional co-morbidities.
Now the second part: persistent hepatitis C infection can lead to various autoimmune diseases and other lymphoproliferative disorders which do not only include autoimmune hepatitis but a wide spectrum of involvement of other systems ( extrahepatic) also. The chances of the development of autoimmune hepatitis increase if associated with other infections like hepatitis b, measles etc. Not many studies give us the exact percentage. some say there is a prevalence of 20-24 per 100,000. Most of the studies suggest that the incidence is increasing.
Hope your doubts are clear. If anything else you can write back.
thank you

Hello. Good day. Thank you for contacting health care Magic

Detailed Answer:
Hello. sorry for the delay. Some technical issues.
As I told you before the exact cause of autoimmune hepatitis is unclear but genetic and environmental factors appear to go hand in hand to trigger the disease process.
The various risk factors associated with autoimmune hepatitis(AIHA) are hereditary, other viral infections like measles, herpes, or other forms of hepatitis or the presence of other autoimmune diseases.
in hepatitis c those who develop chronic hepatitis c, in about 25-30% of autoantibodies have been seen. (Again I will emphasise that I could not get hold of many studies, but most of the studies done give a rough estimate of this figure.)
As far as other viral infections are concerned they will not lead to AIHA directly, in fact, it is an interplay of multiple triggers which will lead to AIHA.The studies show that the chances are increased if there is already a compromised liver.(exact percentage of viral infections transforming to AIHA - I could not get hold of it)
In fact it is another way round. If we look at the cases of autoimmune hepatitis and search for their causes, around 30-35% ( rough estimate) of the patients will have a predisposing factor for it.
I hope your doubt is adequately clarified. Thank you

What i have read that B,C hepatitis rare cause autoimmune hepatitis

That autoimmune hepatitis antibodies are as you said rather often in C hepatitis, but it does not mean that there is autoimmune hepatitis !

As lot of healthy generation has these antibodies
but they are healthy -

Sera from 214 healthy children and adolescents (108 females [50.4%]) aged 6 months to 20 years (mean 8.7 years) and from 116 patients with rheumatic diseases were assayed for antinuclear antibody (ANA) by indirect immunofluorescence (IIF) by using HEp-2 cells as substrate. Twenty-seven healthy children (12.6%) presented a positive ANA test; there was no difference between genders, and we observed a trend for higher frequency of ANA >/= 1/80 among children between 5 years and 10 years. Eight of the 27 healthy children with positive ANA test were reevaluated 36 months later, and none of them had developed any rheumatic disease, though the sera remained positive in 2 of them. ANA was present in 42/116 patients (36.2%). In daily medical practice ANA determination should be required only in individuals with clinical signs and symptoms suggestive of autoimmune disease.

and all of C hepatitis is treated - with no problem - in case with autoimmune antibodies, and none cases autoimmune hepatitis

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/0000/

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0000X0000

So it prove that frequently antibodies occur in C hepatitis and healthy generation
But it does not mean that it is autoimmune hepatitis -
As lot of healthy population have these antibodies

So in conclusion C hepatitis rather rare cause autoimmune hepatitis

Brief Answer:
Hi. Thank you for contacting health care magic again.

Detailed Answer:
I must congratulate you before anything else for all your hard work you have put in to do so much research on the topic. As you said presence of autoantibodies does not mean autoimmune hepatitis and not all patients of hepatitis C progress to develop autoimmune hepatitis.
Thank you.
Take care.

Hello !

As from your answer

autoantibodies does not mean autoimmune hepatitis and not all patients of hepatitis C progress to develop autoimmune hepatitis.

As in general population c hepatitis prevelance is about 4-5%

In looking on statistic in autoimune hepatitis - there are olny few case of c hepatitis and b hepatitis in literature that is caused by these viruss !

As you say not all

Statistic show that very rare some could develop
As c hepatis is common - but it autoimune hepatits rare c hepatitis is found

In counclusion c heaptitis rare cause autoimmune hepatitis !
