Why Do I Have Dry,itchy And Scaly Places On Both Breasts?

I have a couple of dry, scaly places on both breasts that itch. There is no discoloration, pain, firmness or swelling. I've been treating them, when the itching surfaces, with a cortozone (sp) cream, which alleviates the itching. Sometimes I can go days without the itching. The scalyness isn't spreading but isn't getting better either. I decided to research because I just saw a CTRC ad about a lady who said that was her first indicator of late stage breast cancer. According to the feedback I got from this sight, though, it looks like the likelihood is greater it is something else. Your feedback will be appreciated. I WILL consult my doctor, though, to be on the save side.

Hi,

I can understand your concern for dry, itchy and scaly places on both breasts.

It appears from your query that you are having fungal infection of the skin which is spreading. It is quite common in this hot weather to find fungal infection and the further spread of infection to nearby o other parts. The two smaller one are the part of same spreading fungal infection.

If I were yourdermatologist tehn would have prescribed you an anti-fungal cream/gel like clotrimazole or sertaconazole or ketoconazole. It is applied two times in thin layer over the affected areas. The things will be alright in next 7-14 days.
To prevent the further spread maintain good hygiene by taking two times bath, wearing cotton clothes and change of clothes two times. You can also use nay good medicated antiperspirant powder. Stay away from hot and humid climate.

Hope these informations will help.
