When Will Labrynthitis Heal?

Hi , iv been given betahistine dihydrochloride ( serc 16mg) 3 x a day to treat labrynthitis . How long will it be before I notice any effect . Iv been taking them for 6 days now and still feel lightheaded . Also can I take kalms herbal tablets with them to help me sleep ? I'm a 31 year old female .

Labyrinthitis is one of the common causes of vertigo.Like the other causes, it is related to the inner ear.
In general the medications are only used for a short period of time.

This is because, prolonged use of medication is thought to affect the ability of brain to compensate.

The kalms herbal treatment should be ok to used but you may want to consult with your doctor first.
