What Medication Is Suggested For Tonsillitis?

My right tonsil has always been swollen from when I had tonsillitis two years ago and recently lots of white/yellows blisters formed onto it and I looked this morning and they have all popped, there's just random little pices there now, what shall I do?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding recurrent tonsillitis with sepsis. As you have told about your throat problem it appears you are suffering from chronic follicular tonsillitis with recurrent acute exacerbation.

My opinion for you to consult your ENT doctor for operation (tonsillectomy), because such cases as you had described can't be cure medicaly and if you avoid operation than you may land on complications like-

1- Quincy.

2- Strep infection and Rheumatic fever.

Therfore to save yourself from complications surgery should be the preferred.

Regards.
