What Is The Treatment For Rashes On Arms And Legs?
i am checking for my husbands behalf he has a spot on his leg that we thought was a ringworm but it has grown massively and we seem to think that this infection on his leg is starting to cause a rash on his arms and legs and it really flares up at night time. Is there any suggestions on what it is and if there is anything we can do here at home or over the counter
Dear Friend Welcome to Health care magic. I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I will shortly try to help you with my opinion.
As per details, the rash can be any of the following:
1) Allergic rash : characterized by itchy red eruptions , usually tend to disappear within few hours only to reappear again.
2) Tinea corporis: it is fungal infection that is itchy red colored forming rings. Can spread to involve any part of the body.
I need to know how the lesions look like?
If possible for you kindly send a pic of the lesions. Else i will advice you to visit your dermatologist so that the lesions can be visualized and correct diagnosis can be made.
Stay Healthy.
