Hi, welcome to HCM. Thanks for asking your query at this forum.
I have read your question carefully and understood it. I will try my best to answer it.

As you told you are having poor libido and erectile dysfunction since last one year. I can understand your concern. At this young age the commonest cause of sexual problem is psychiatric conditions like anxiety, stress and depression etc. In you case it is quite obvious as you had a bitter past experience of failed intercourse. Apparently this has generated negative emotions of self inadequacy, low self esteem, bleak view of future, and anticipatory anxiety of having the similar failure again. This over a period of time have caused onset of depression.
A depressed person experiences low libido, feels sad most of the time, prefers to be alone, does not enjoy pleasurable things as before, has a negative view of future, preoccupation of past unfortunate events and low energy/ disturbed sleep/ poor appetite etc. Do you have some of these symptoms apart from sexual dysfunction.

If yes, then you need to be further evaluated for possibility of a depressive disorder and may be needed to undergo psychotherapy and/or pharmacotherapy (prescribed antidepressant medications) for some time to cure.

You will have good recovery within few weeks with therapy.

I hope it answers your query. I wish you all the best.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Most common cause for erectile dysfunction in young male is psychological stress and anxiety.
But better to first rule out organic causes like developmental anomaly of testes, hormonal imbalance etc.
So consult doctor and get done
1. Ultrasound examination of abdomen and scrotum.
2. Semen analysis
3. Hormone study (testosterone, progesterone, estrogen).
If all these are normal then no need to worry for any major disease.
Consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions.
Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on it's solution.
You may need anxiolytic drugs too. Don't worry, with proper counselling, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
