Hi doctor, I had an endoscopy in 1998 with problem in stomach. The endoscopy result was Les Lax and they gave me the medicine called Almacarb . My main problem is burning type sensation and pain on my chest and stomach. This problem was there then in 1998 and before and after that but occasionally. For a last one week, I am consistently getting this problem. I am 38 and my weight is about 65 Kgs. In 1997 also I had another endoscopy and they said my main problem was acid reflux. GERD or oesophyseal reflux may at times be due to hiatus hernia. Medicine or surgery are not the the only way. Life style change is also requered. Alcohol smoking are to be completly given up. Can take polycrol gel. Yoga and meditation may help you. Surgery can also be last option.
