Hello and welcome to HCM,

The interpretation of pelvic ultrasound is as follows:
The endometrium is within normal limits.
The endometrial lining or the endometrial lining measures 9 mm which is the thickness seen during proliferative phase.

The ovaries show presence of multiple follicles.
In normal ovarian cycle, multiple follicles develop.
Only one forms a dominant follicle which ruptures to release the ovum.
However, in a condition called polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), multiple follicles develop, however, none matures to form the dominant follicle.
Thus, ovulation does not occur.
The ultrasound is suggestive of PCOS, however, some investigations need to be done to confirm the condition.
These tests are- blood FSH, LH ,LH/FSH ration, testosterone levels and insulin levels.
Consult your gynecologist for prescription of these investigations.

Thanks and take care
