What Difficulties Does A Bulky Uterus Pose In Conceiving Successfully?

goodmorning , a friend of mine says she has got a bulky uterus and she is worried she may not be able to have children.she had an abortion .what are the effects of having abulky uterus and may the abortion be a cause for the condition she is 24yrs.May you please assist

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion bulky uterus is seen in pelvic inflammatory disease(PID).The PID is caused by many organisms.It has symptoms like fever,altered vaginal discharge,pain abdomen with or without urinary symptoms.PID causes infertility.So I suggest her to get physical examination to exclude PID.Dont worry with a course of antibiotics it might subside.If no symptoms the finding might be incidental.Dont worry it's a treatable cause.
