Does Duphaston Have Third Generation Side Effects?

I was given duphaston during my pregnancy in the early 70 s. It was subsequently no longer used to prevent abortion. sometime later as it was thought to be associated with hermaphroditism and male sterility. Could there ever be third generation effects to a child born to a father who had no effects from 10 mg of oral duphaston given to his mother?

Hi,

No, there can not a third generational effect of Duphaston. This medication is considerably safe to use during pregnancy and acts like progesterone, it has no effects on the baby, hence, no generational effects.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
