What Could Swollen Tonsils With Itchy Skin On Neck And Face Suggest?

hello, i have had a fever for a couple of days and my tonsils are very swollen(hard to swallow) but in the last day or so ive been getting itchy skin around my jaw line and neck face and chest(i took a hot shower and my chest became very red and irritated). My son which is 3 had some fever last week with some skin irritation as well, his doctor recommended a cream and thats it. can you help me out

Hi,

It seems that you are having acute allergic pharyngitis with a cute tonsillitis with skin allergic reaction. Start tab Augmentin 1 gm for 1 week for yourself. Take Levocetrizine tablet 5 mg at bedtime for 1 week to reduce allergy. Do Betadine alternate with saline gargle. For your child give paracetamol 5 ml to reduce fever. Observe if he is having any difficulty in swallowing, pain throat, persistent fever. If any of the symptoms are present then please start syrup Augmentin and T-Minic syrup.
