What Could Be Weeping Sticking Stuff And Horrific Smelling Vaginal Discharge With History Of Hysterectomy 18 Years Ago?

My mum had a hysterectomy 18 yrs ago and this evening is began weeping sticking stuff and smells horrific she went to the ER and they prescribed antibiotics and dressed it just they think it may be a burst cyst or abscess I'm just worried about her getting positioned internally or tho the blood as they sent her home - please advise

Hello and welcome.

Yes, if the onset was sudden then it could have been a burst cyst ot abscess, or if it was a slow onset it could have been an infection.

Either way, the antibiotics that have been prescribed will take care of either of the above posaibilities. Just make sure she rests, and reports to a doctor for regular follow ups, till her symptoms have completely dissappeared.
