What Could Be Causing Dryness Of The Tongue Along With Bumps Which Is Painless?

I am just curious... I m a healthy active girl but I am just curious about something lately. The very back of my tongue where it would start going down my throat feels dry . I m constantly drinking water and swallowing to try to lubricate it. When I stick my tongue out and look at the back there are raised bumps back there. It doesn t hurt, I don t have a sore throat either...it just feels dry so I m wondering why it s so dry! Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

I would suggest you to get an complete mouth examination done.
At home take lukewarm saline rinses.
This could also be due to salivary gland blockage.
Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.

Take care!

Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
There are many causes responsible for the dry mouth, among them anemia, and anxiety, and mouth breathing are the main in normal people.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein
richfoods to have enough blood and general health. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
