What Causes Vertigo Symptoms And Dizziness?

Woke up with vertigo symptoms and dizziness and vomited once - no headache. First time this has happened. After 5 hours feel better now but not 100%. What can cause this out of no where? I do get migraines and visual auras but there was no headache. I am ovulating.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
In your case this type of vertigo or dizziness may be due to hyper acidity ( because you develop these symptoms just after woke up , so food of previous night may be responsible ) , tension or anxiety .
However there are so many reasons of dizziness as Inner ear dizziness , neurological dizziness , medical dizziness & psychological .
Other causes may be hyper tension or hypo tension , anemia , Hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia .
But at present I would like to advise you take some antacid and wait for another attack .
Be careful about food and if possible avoid greasy or oily food , junk food , chocolate , drinks with caffeine in them .
If symptoms recurs consult a physician and get his opinion.
Good luck.
