What Causes Swelling And Redness On Labia Minora Of A 3 Year Old?

My daughter is 3 years old and I just noticed that her right, labia minora is red and a little swollen. We are potty training now so she is in the stage of wiping herself after using the restroom. Could this be a reaction to her "wiping the wrong way" or is this some kind of yeast infection? (There is no discharge either)

It can be because of wrong wiping technique. As there is no discharge fungal infection is less likely. Also look for any redness in the groin and perianal areas. If the rash is also present in this areas then there is possibility of fungal infection.
