What Causes Red And Itchy Earlobes With Dryness?

For several weeks my earlobes have been red and itchy with a crustiness or dryness on the back of the lobes. So far I ve used antibiotic, cordisone 1% ointment, and oil, nothing seems to clear it up. And it doesn t seem to matter whether I wear earrings or not. Do you have a solution? Thank you.

Hello. Welcome to hcm
Excoriations on ear lobes is commonly due to dandruff on the scalp. Do not apply steroid creams or oils with out treating scalp infection
I advise you to consult your doctor who week rest both ear lobe crusting and scalp infection
