What Causes Pelvic Pressure, Back Pain And Nausea With Dizziness After Tubal Ligation?

Hi I am 32 years old; my husband and I tried for 5 years to have a baby and finally got pregnant and had a miscarriage; now I have to little boys. Six weeks after my second son I had my tubes tied; recently over the last 3 to 4 weeks I have had a lot of severe pelvic pressure and low back pain, some dizziness, little pain going down my legs, nausea, a little over a week and a half ago I though I was starting my period but I just spotted for 4 days. I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative and I went to my gynecologist and she done a urine test and it was negative, she also done a pap smear and blood work; but I don t go back for 3 weeks, and it seems like the pressure and pain is worsening, do you have any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks

Hello,

I don't think there is a chance of pregnancy when tubes are ligated because it is a definitive contraception method.

I think the pain may persist as side effect of the procedure used for tubal ligation. You should also do a vaginal smear to check for infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
