What Causes Pain And Itchiness In Ear While Sneezing?
my ears painfully itch/ hurt when i sneeze, and sometimes just randomly. I ve been to a dentist and he prescribed me something to relieve the pressure because at one point i could even feel it in my tooth. I ve also been to a doctor who gave me nasal sprays to relieve the pressure but it didn t really work, what could be wrong?
While sneezing the pressure may transmit to middle ear through eustachian tube.
But this may induce itching I think. Other possible causes are like middle ear infection or eustachian tube block or otitis externa etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Avoid excessive sneezing. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg twice a day for five days. use tablet lecope-AD twice a day for five days
If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
