Dermatologist 's  Response
Hair fall is a common symptom of polycystic ovarian syndrome. Hypothyroidism is a condition that often coexists with PCOS so i would advice you to get your thyroid function tests done. If minoxidil 2% did not help at all in 2 years then it is better to stop it. If you are overweight please try to lose weight and exercise as these tend to improve PCOS. Unfortunately there is no treatment of graying hair and a hair dye is the only thing that can help and that too temporarily. Some people have genetically fine hair. Also tell us regarding the texture of your hair. Curly hair tends to be drier and easy to break.
