What Causes Flu And Rash On Cheekbones When Spinal And Muscular Pain?

Hi. I have recently had a cold and then a bout of the flu I think. I think I ve had the flu because of spinal and muscular aching. Anyway, today I have a red spotty rash on the points of my cheekbones, around the outer part of my eye sockets. It is not irritating. Just obvious. Something to get checked out? Thanks.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a fever blister.

Generally, it will settle by itself without any residual lesion.

If symptoms persist you can consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
