What Causes Dizziness Accompanied With Hot Flashes?
I ve had intermittent bouts of dizziness, accompanied with hot flashes, since my last menstrual cycle ended. Every now and then there will be a bit of nausea but rarely. It s more likely to happen if I smell food but I m not hungry when these symptoms manifest.
Hot flashes are common during premenstrual and menstrual phases and also in menopausal age group (you have not mentioned your age in history) which is due to the hormonal changes during the cycle. Also, stress and anxiety are key factors which causes hot flashes.
I advise you to: * Do YOGA * Relaxation exercises to get out of stress * Have salt restricted diet * Avoid caffeine and alcohol * Even after periods if you get hot flashes, check your TFT (thyroid function test)
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
