What Causes Hot Flashes Long After Suffering From Triple Negative Breast Cancer?

I am having hot flashes ... Am 63 years old. Had hysterectomy at age 48 but kept overies. Went through hot flashes through early 50 s. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer 3 years ago. Went through chemo and radiation treatment. The last time my hormone levels were checked I was told I was post menopausal. Could I still have menopausal hot flashes or should I be looking at other causes??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

It is of course still possible. But either way, get your hormone levels checked so we are well informed about everything.

Best wishes.
