What Causes Cough, Sore Throat And Headache?
I have a severe sore throat, a cough that is making my chest itch on the inside and am coughing up gunk. Other symptoms include, headache, fatigue and two nights of nights sweats. I started getting sick last Tues 18th or Wed. 19th. I'm thinking I may have the flu and a respiratory infection. What are your thoughts?

Hello dear,welcome to HCM forum.
It can either be just a flu or a bacterial respiratory tract infection.
Just try taking bed rest,light food,enough fluids.Take paracetamol 500mg thrice daily,and antihistamines like Levocetirezine 5mg once daily for 3-5 days.
If it is not coming down in 1-2 days,kindly see your doctor without delay as this will need antibiotic treatment.
