What Causes Acute Cough With Chest Pain?

HI , I M RAJAT VIJAY , ACTUALLY MY MOTHER IS SUFFERED FROM Cough since 3 months , sometimes feel chest pain also , and problem is mostly occur during sleeping time , and during sleeping she hav to covered chest with some clothes , if not the problem started . so plese tell me shoud we hav to counsult with doctor in this case ?

Your mother symptoms could be related to chronic bronchitis. For this reason, I recommend consulting with a pulmonologist for a physical exam and a chest X ray study, coupled with pulmonary function tests and inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR).
