Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

This suggests enlarged and inflamed lymph node. If fever and throat pain has come down, we need not worry - hopefully this will improve in few days. Just complete the antibiotic course (7-10 days). If pain or swelling progresses, kindly review with your doctor for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
