Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
Symptoms of TB depend on where in the body the TB bacteria are growing. TB bacteria usually grow in the lungs. TB in the lungs may cause prolonged cough for more than 3 weeks , sputum , evening rise in fever , loss of appetite and weight .
TB spine can show up as chronic progressive back pain.
Hi, Welcome
Besides features informed by Dr Nyla, blood in cough, cough specifically for > 3 weeks should also raise suspicion. Extrapulmonary TB may cause other symptoms like kidney TB causing sterile pyuria, skin TB causing warty growths, or Lymph nodes TB causing swelling & sinuses, to name a few.
