Hello, Cymbalta cannot be stopped cold turkey. Symptoms like the ones you ve mentioned are expected. A patient who stops it like this will experience worsening of depression. A gradual reduction in dosage is required to avoid such symptoms and when the symptoms recur the dosage would have to be escalated again until the patient is comfortable with the changes. The symptoms cannot be predicted on an individual basis but they would be symptoms of depression like a constant sad feeling, perhaps thoughts of committing suicide, crying, etc. Hope I have answered your query.
