thanks pls I had medical abortion last year d doctor inserted 2 tablet while I swallowed 3 tablets and it was okay but I don t know d name of d drugs and now I m pregnant again and I don t have access to doctor now, can u tell the name of the drugs? and can I use it myself? if yes pls tell me how best to use it now

Hello,

The medical abortion is not advisable to perform by your own. First of all it is necessary to confirm whether pregnancy is intrauterine or not. The CBC also need to be done to exclude anemia. You can be prescribed Mifepristone tablet 600 mg that has to be taken orally.

After 48 hour than gynecologist will put Misoprostol tablet 400 or 800 ug intravaginally to induce abortion. The pill repeated again if abortion not started and if bleeding not started. Usually after Misoprostol tablet use bleeding start that is heavy with clots suggestive of starting of abortion process.
