Vaccination Taken For Flu, Pneumonia. Repeated Cold, Sore Throat, Losing Voice. Medication To Cure Cold?

Yes i have Cll , have had it 5 years and am doing great. Had flu and pneumonia shot age now 65 Still stage 0 , however i feel cold coming on , sore throat and losong voice. First one in 5 years since i got cll. My quesusanmcbrinestionis Shoukd i go to dr for Ntibiotics to keep from getting bronchial cold or treat it myself at home a few days. My lymph nodes seem fine just a bit tender.

Hi and welcome to HCM. Thank you for your query.
the majority of respiratory infetions are viral,especailly in the beginning of infection. Later it can become bacterial pharyngitis or pneumonia. If there is no productive cough, more than 39 fever or mouth odour it is likely to be virus so antibiotics arent needed. If you notice these symptoms or this persists more than 4-5 days you should visit doctor. Wish you good health.
