General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and thanks for the question,
Negativity of glucose and ketones excludes possibility for diabetes. Positive leucocytes, with low or absent White blood cells is of no clinical significance. Positive leucocytes are important in the diagnosis of a urinary tract infection usually when leucocytes are positive and nitrites are positive. A positive leucocyte and positive nitrites are diagnostic of a urinary tract infection. In this case, nitrites are negative and White blood cells on a urine cytological examination are almost absent.
I would suggest you remain calm and feel good for there is no problem with this urine test.
Thanks as I wish you just the best,
Luchuo, MD.
