Trying To Lose Weight. Breast Fed, Pumped Breast Milk. On Zoloft. Now Gaining Weight. Have Insomnia, Loose Stools. Treatment?

Current medications: levothyroxin 50mcg, Adipex-p 37.5mg

DX 3 mos. Ago with hashi-motos. Via blood draw by general physician.

Trying to lose weight to conceive 2nd child, have lost 25lbs. Irregular period since birth of first child, 3 yrs ago. Breast fed and pumped breast milk for 8 months. Was back to pre pregnancy weight 2 mos. After L&D. was dx with postpartum and began takeing zoloft. Then slowly started to gain weight back after that, weened myself off of zoloft after taking it for 8-9 months. Have recently started having regular periods for past 2 months.

Symptoms: insomnia, xerostomia, tingling/numbness fingers, loose stools, yellow mucus without stool, tightness in throat, trouble with thinking of right words to say, emotional highs and lows. Abdominal pain and bloating during and after menstral cycle. I understand some of the symptoms due to the adipex but I am worried that there is more to this, I am 28 y.o. and am obese. Smoke 7-10 cigarettes a day. I I wonder if it is possible for me to have endometriosis? And how is it diagnosed?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Losing some weight will help in getting pregnant but it is possible only with a regular exercise and diet control. Endometriosis can be diagnosed by diagnostic laparoscopy and ultrasound scan.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
