The Roof Of My Mouth Hurts

The roof of my mouth on the lower left side has started to hurt. I'm also sick so I don't know if it is a symptom. My throat hurts and the doctor said I have an ulcer that might get better in a week. I don't know if it has anything to do with my mouth. It stings a little and feels a little swollen, just a little.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I heve read your query and the opinion of your doctor as ulcer on your palate, You are already sick and this soreness had developed later.

Considering all above it appears as you are having oropharyngeal ulcers. these may be-

1- Dyspeptic.

2- Fungal infection.

3- Bacterial infection or part of sore throat.

Above are to be diagnose by clinical examination and few basic investigations. Once the diagnosis is made treatment may be plan accordingly.

Regards.
