ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query for sore throat and pain on tongue and throat. As per your symptoms it appears as you are having chronic pharyngitis for quite long time and recently acute exacerbation has taken place.

Persistant sore hroat indicates that here should be some infective pathology going on either in- sinuses, tonsils, adenoids or there may be GERD / LPR. So this should be ruled out by examination and investigations. In this way the diagnosed disease should be treated.

Regards.
