Suggest Treatment For Pancreatitis And Swelling Of Stomach After Alcoholism
my daughter is a acololic she was admitted to hosp a week ago they said she had pancreatitis 3 days later she got worse with swelling of the stomach and she wasblocked up so they put a tube down her throat and were draining stomach fluids now they took that out and went in another way she still has alot of pain in stomach and swelling can hardly walk she has liver spots on the skin no body is giving any real ans and there talking abt releasing her but she seems to be getting wiorse
This is going to require resting the pancreas for it to heal up. THEN no more alcohol. Sometimes (rarely) scarring from pancreatitis stays and it doesn't ever heal up completely. Mostly, once the person is out of the hospital they are also out of the woods (provided they don't drink every anymore). If she can keep fluids/food down, she is over the worst. If she can't, then she can't be released.
