Suggest Treatment For Headache, hot Flashes, nausea And Dizziness

Hi:) for a few years now I have been getting migraines in the evenings frequently. I also have stomach issuess after eating things that contain gluten. Are they related? I get these headaches (accompanied by hot flashes, nausea, and dizziness) even when I try to stay away from gluten. And could I be hypoglycemic?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

To me, you should get a few diagnostic tests to determine the right diagnosis:

- complete blood count (to rule out anemia)
- urine analysis and kidney function test to rule out urinary tract problems
- check your blood pressure, and sugar levels, record the results for reference
- run upper endoscopy for possible stomach problems.

After analyzing the results, we can determine the right treatment strategy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
